If I’ve ever been to the starting line, I haven’t seen where it ends up yet. There must be miles of in between. A lot of people say you need a time machine. Travel all the way without fear of combustion, Any Given Speed. As a fearless kid I couldn’t hide behind nothing, Many times I never knew what happened next. Many dreams would come my way. I built a spaceship in a single day. I traveled all the way without fear of combustion, Any Given Speed. We’re going down, we’re going down… Now I realize it’s all in my head. I’m looking down at my time machine. It’s a fragment of a dream I had. I didn’t think it would go down this bad. Traveled all the way without fear of combustion, Any Given Speed. We’re going down, we’re going down… We’re going down to the rabbit hole, We’re gonna try and dig up my past. Where did I go, how did I end up here? It’s like I’ve been living in the mirror. I traveled all the way without fear of combustion, Any Given Speed.

Ocean Blue 05:33
If ever I was something new, a moment or the ocean blue I still would keep my mind and think of you. The image of a floating tile, the numbers on a turning dial Would help me find you even for a while. A part of me would separate, and spin around like spinning plates And start to occupy a different space. Just like a mirage in the sand, you stand there pointing with your hand Up is where your jump would like to go. And if the time spent in the sky was on a cloud with widened eyes Forgetting that we never used to fly. Our thoughts would disappear like air, and start projecting over there I’d like to feel the softness of your hair. It brings me back to memories when you and I were in between The towers as they fell into the sea. We searched for them and swam below the water and the undertow How could it be so vast, we hadn’t known. And as I nearly gasped for air, I turned to look, you were not there Instead the coral was beyond compare. It swapped by body and mind, and then made them be intertwined Making you impossible to find. If ever I was something new, a moment or the ocean blue I still would keep my mind and think of you.

Makin’ good time, Got the clock beat maybe there’s a wakin’ step will take me. Makin’ good time, Soulful shoes strapped on me and a willful heart will save me. Makin’ good time, With the sunshine lady, oh yeah, reflecting on a memory. Makin’ good time, For every devil done stung me there’s an easy road to the country. Across the far away water where I thought I saw her I’ve been wasting so much time. Looking for the signal in the water’s twinkle I think this reflection is mine. Makin’ good time, Even trashcans lately got a new beat to discover. Makin’ good time, While the day’s been spending all the minutes go by with your lover. It’s a good time, For a change in the season, take a trip around the sun. And you know why, Birds are gonna keep singing ‘cause we are makin’ good time. Across the far away water where I thought I saw her I’ve been wasting so much time. Looking for the signal in the water’s twinkle I think this reflection is mine.

Keep Groovin’ Down Hey hey buddy won’t come on down, come on bring yours on out Come groovin’ downtown, we’re gonna get together somehow. Keep groovin’ down. I gotta tell you, I gotta say You’re working too hard ‘cause you gotta get paid. But that’s okay, ‘cause that’s the way Sometimes buddy you gotta come play. Hey hey buddy won’t come on down, come on bring yours on out Come groovin’ downtown, we’re gonna get together somehow. Keep groovin’ down. And maybe you can do anything Teach the birds to sing, make the phone ring. You’ve only got yourself to bring So take what you got, stir it in the pot Everybody take your hands out of your pockets. You say this, you say that People are different as a matter of fact. You’re gonna get down, and you’re gonna frown But don’t let anybody take your joy on out. Hey hey buddy won’t come on down, come on bring yours on out Come groovin’ downtown, we’re gonna get together somehow. Keep groovin’ down.

I see my future in a ball spinning ‘round. A sagging tree Lifts up and sees A writer’s dream Is incomplete Another branch Another word The circumstance Is incomplete I see my future in a ball spinning ‘round. I see my future in a ball spinning ‘round. A sunny day The heating clay Under a name With pages plain Then one new line Comes a long From whispered pines Into the mind I see my future in a ball spinning ‘round. Past present future they are all rolled into one Circling the planets moving on to every sun Don’t you worry ‘bout the future you don’t need to know If you live while lovin’ you’ll see where you’re gonna go Filling full of life a wave will whisper in your ear Put it down on paper now for all the world to hear Don’t you worry ‘bout the future you don’t need to know If you love while livin’ you’ll see where you’re gonna go

Saskatchewan 05:28
I feel a little bit different going in between it all With the trees so high, makes me feel a little small I’ve been about everywhere man, but just in my head And I never thought I’d see the Rocky mountains, rocky mountains, rocky mountains, mountains yeah. But even these mountains they just can’t compete With all this flatness, keeps me flat on my feet This place is so beautiful, maybe it’s all in my head And I never thought I’d see the sunrise, altogether with my friends. Saskatchewan A song about love playing on the radio Tune in too long and I don’t know where to go Get outta the car and look up to the sky Well I’ve never seen a cloud so Mesmerizing, mesmerizing, mesmerizing, rizing yeah. Oh look at the time, I think we fell asleep How could we fall into a dream this deep? I think everybody thought this river was a lake And I never thought I’d say Please bring me back here, bring me back here, bring me back here once again. Saskatchewan Prairies so wide near Saskatoon Hope I find another way to describe what it is I like about it soon Saskatchewan

Loose Cannon 05:12
There’s someone talking through the dial They’re telling lies and spreading fire They keep passing all the tall tales around They’re packing powder in the barrel And casting sparks without a care at all It’s hard to see with your head stuck underground The energy keeps rising now It’s not just me its the unity We’re shooting starbound They packed us in a loose cannon There’s people dancing in the streets tonight They’re making music in the firelight The moon is singing and we’re trying to write it down Turn it on and turn it up now Find the song from within Go on and let it out The energy keeps rising now It’s not just me its the unity We’re shooting starbound They packed us in a loose cannon

Lately 04:04
Lately I’ve been thinking about packing it all in Leave another world behind, turn my back on where I’ve been For the sake of going, bring paper and a pen I might let you know; maybe I’ll let you know Gonna get together, get my thoughts aligned Walk another lonely road and if I’ve half a mind Tell you all about it maybe later in time I might let you know; maybe I’ll let you know Gonna have a family, a house up on a hill This wind blown seed is gonna make himself still Stop all this dreaming when I’m ready and I have the will I might let you know; maybe I’ll let you know If I change my mind and I know it in time Would I write it all down for you? Can’t see what it say, words got in the way Gonna read out loud to you.

You didn’t tell me, you just made up your own mind You didn’t tell me, you just made up your own mind You didn’t warn me about the story You didn’t have to, but please next time won’t you tell me? You didn’t tell me, until after all that mess You didn’t tell me, until after all that mess Arriving early kinda hurt Don’t wanna hear it, but please next time won’t you tell me? You didn’t tell me, that I lost the steering wheel You didn’t tell me, that I lost the steering wheel Another highway will come my way If I get a new car, then please next time won’t you tell me? You didn’t tell me, you didn’t wanna waste my time You didn’t tell me, you didn’t wanna waste my time We had a good plan, an understanding A silly request, but please next time won’t you tell me?
